The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences with others in running an information technology business that may be looking to improve their own personal efficiency and organization. Many of our customers have requested guidance on best practices for their organizations, and so I wanted to create a forum where my own personal experience in overcoming obstacles through applying technology might also be of benefit to others.

Catalyst Technology Group provides the resources of a large IT department to companies of all sizes nationwide in almost every industry. Our clients are businesses, both with and without internal IT staffs, that face the challenge of how to address ever-increasing IT requirements within a limited budget. With offices in Indianapolis and Chicago, we work with clients and prospects to first understand their objectives and the IT resources already in place. About Neil Issa
Neil Issa, Chief Executive Officer, Catalyst Technology Group
Prior to Catalyst Technology Group, Mr. Issa has over 13 years of experience in technology sales and service, business management, and as an angel investor for several startup companies and joint partnerships. Mr. Issa founded Catalyst where he concurrently serves as its President and CEO. Catalyst provides IT support, infrastructure solutions, and application development services for businesses nationwide. Since Catalyst's inception, Mr. Issa has built efficient business processes to service over 450 business clients from it's offices in Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL. In 2003, Mr. Issa developed international relationships and formed an offshore programming company headquartered in Dubai. Mr. Issa also currently sits on the board of directors for several other companies including a Dubai-based IT joint venture, a real estate investment company, as well as several other diverse private holdings. Prior to Catalyst, Mr. Issa founded and served as CEO of Velocity Integration, an IT consulting firm which he sold to an Internet Service Provider. Velocity Integration was built into a leading managed services provider specializing in firewall and server management. Prior to Velocity Integration, Mr. Issa held a position with Van Ausdall & Farrar as the Infrastructure Project Manager after being promoted from a position as a Sr. Network Engineer specializing in Cisco routers, firewalls, and LAN switching. Mr. Issa also achieved numerous IT certifications over the years including CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, Compaq ASE, and Master CNE.
